Declan Donnelly has come under fire from Britain’s Got Talent fans after making ‘creepy’ comments towards girl group Zyrah Rose.
The four-strong girl group were performing during Tuesday night’s semi-final when judge Simon Cowell criticised them for looking ‘cold’ and ‘a little bit untouchable’.
When cameras panned back to hosts Ant and Dec, Dec added: “They don’t look untouchable to me – in fact they look very touchable to me.”
While Ant seemed to find it rather amusing, the comment didn’t go down too well with viewers at home.
still creeped out by the consumable and touchable remarks to Zyrah Rose from Simon, Ant and Dec #bgt

Dec on Zyrah Rose: "They look very touchable to me."
It's like he's after a job at the BBC. In the 1970s. #BGT— Ian Hyland (@HylandIan) May 24, 2016

The comment came after Simon, who during their audition said they sounded ‘cold’ and had no interaction, admitted he had still not been won over by them.
He said the track ‘sounded really good, particularly as [it] picked up in the middle’, but added: “I personally think that there is a slight image issue with you which is making you look a little bit untouchable.”
Cue Dec’s ‘letchy’ comment.

Despite his views on how ‘touchable’ the girls were, the group failed to make it through to the finals, with magician Richard Jones and dance act Boogie Storm going through instead.
