Melissa ‘La China’ Calderon stands accused of over 150 murders and has overseen an alarming rise in the nations murder rate.
The 30-year-old was sold out by her hitman lover Pedro ‘El Chino’ Gomez, who was second in command within the cartel she established in June, ruling the underworld in Baja California Sur, La Paz, and Cabo San Lucas.
‘El Chino’ exchanged vital information which could be used against Calderon in court to reduce his own expected sentence, and allegedly labeled her as “Maniacal” and a “Control freak”.
The damning evidence the police have on the gun loving mobster is believed to be the location of her secret burial pits.
Although Calderon has also earned a reputation for not burying her victims, choosing to mutilate and deliver the corpses back to loved ones instead.
Her organised crime career started ten years ago when she joined the Damaso Cartel, but she was asked to step aside in favour of the higher ranking Abel Quintero as he left prison this summer.
Having grown accustomed to the violent no-nonsense lifestyle of a mob boss, ‘La China’ set up on her own commanding an army of 300 drug dealers.
