On March 5, UNILAD posted a story about British multinational confectionery company Cadbury that was untrue.

UNILAD reported that Cadbury had stopped the production of chocolate, but this was only a temporary measure.

The company said it had stopped production at its Bournville site after the water company, Severn Trent, said it would have to cut the water supply.

Jaguar Land Rover also halted their production at two of their UK plants because of the ongoing water problems.

A spokeswoman for JLR said the company was closed and according to the Mirror, they were unable to say when it would be reopen.

She said:

Due to a water shortage caused by a burst water main, we have had to stop production this afternoon.

However, Severn Trent Water restored water supplies to Jaguar Land Rover and Cadbury plants on Tuesday March 6 after working “round the clock” to fix problems caused by the big thaw.
