Donald Trump recently said Caitlyn Jenner could use whichever bathroom she wants at Trump Tower, and so the transgender Olympic gold medalist did just that.
Appearing on the Today show last week, the Republican presidential candidate was asked about the so-called bathroom laws that have been implemented in North Carolina and Mississippi.
These laws prohibit transgender people from using the bathroom they associate with, and force them instead to use the gender bathroom they were born with. A transgender woman for example, would have to use the men’s room, and a transgender man would have to use the women’s. Obviously, the law has been heavily protested.
So Today host Matt Lauer brought the issue to Trump on the show, using a rather famous transgender person to get his opinion on the matter.
He said: “If Caitlyn Jenner were to walk into Trump Tower and wanted to use the bathroom, you would be fine with her using any bathroom she chooses.”
Trump responded: “That is correct.”
So to be sure Trump wasn’t just giving Lauer a line (which would have been more than likely), Jenner used the women’s room at one of Trump’s buildings and then posted the video to Facebook.
Thanks Donald! #everyonehastopee #flushdiscrimination

The reality star took a shot at Ted Cruz – who she had previously spoken highly of – at the end of the video: “Thank you, Donald, really appreciate it. And by the way, Ted [Cruz], nobody got molested,” she said.
Cruz is known to favour the very much criticized bathroom laws.
He said on ABC News:
There is no greater evil than predators, and if the law says that any man, if he chooses can enter a women’s restroom, a little girl’s restroom and stay there and he cannot be removed because he simply says at that moment he feels like a woman, you’re opening the door for predators.
Cruz needs to get his head on straight. So does Trump, but at least he understands one aspect of equality.
