Fans were excited enough to catch the new Marvel film Captain Marvel, but imagine the thrill of buying your tickets from the woman herself.
The brilliant Brie Larson has gone all out for the role, even working behind the concession counter of an AMC during screenings to surprise cinema goers.
Marvel buffs were thrilled to be served by the 29-year-old actor, who was more than happy to pose with fans during her shifts.
The joy on the faces of young fans meeting their new, super-strong heroine – outside of the big screen! – is honestly sweeter than any bucket of popcorn…
One young woman took her little cousins to see Captain Marvel – at AMC Clifton Commons 16 in Clifton, New Jersey – only to be faced with the real deal:
Funny story I wanted to take my little cousins to see the new #captainmarvel and we ended up seeing #captainmarvel herself @brielarson serving guests at our local #amc and she was kind enough to take time to speak with these young ladies and made this night one they won’t forget.
What an amazing experience. Even better following #internationalwomensday that these girls get to meet a #realrolemodel and #hero. Needless to say we love #captainmarvel @captainmarvelofficial @marvel @marvelstudios #CaptainMarvelSoldMePopcornAtAMC #IamTheCoolCousinForLife

Larson was dressed in Captain Marvel themed casual clothing, and even stepped into a showing to greet fans before the movie kicked off.
Holding a cinema cup nonchalantly in one hand, Larson told the audience:
I just heard that I was on the cups and popcorn and I wanted to see for myself. Thank you so much for coming. You guys are so awesome to come opening weekend.
Like all great superheroes – from Peter Parker to Clark Kent – it would appear Brie Larson has an everyday alter ego besides being a glam Hollywood actor. And it’s lovely to see her showing such a friendly, down-to-earth side.
You can catch Brie Larson in Captain Marvel in cinemas now. Although I can’t promise you she will be serving you fizzy drinks…
