More Harry Potter and the Cursed Child cast photos have been released, this time revealing how Draco Malfoy looks now he’s hit middle age, and he’s sporting a pretty unexpected hairstyle.
It seems that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree and Draco’s taken after his dear old dad, growing out his golden locks. Unlike Lucius, however, Draco shockingly wears his hair in a ponytail – maybe it’s a mid-life crisis?
The former high school bully also sports a rather fetching goatee adding to his menace, but the biggest reveal may concern his son Scorpius, who seems to buck the trend of Malfoys being royal gits.
Instead of looking cocky and smirking like his father and grandfather, Scorpius looks far more nervous and bewildered, could we about to get our first sympathetic Slytherin?
The actor playing the latest Malfoy, Anthony Boyle, explained on Pottermore why he looks quite so anxious.
He said:
He’s wearing the official Hogwarts uniform before you go and get sorted into your house. He’s a Malfoy so his clothes should be really expensive but quite constraining to make him feel a bit awkward.
The final photo shows Draco and Scorpius together and the younger Malfoy definitely looks unhappy about something.
Scorpius shouldn’t worry too much though – we’re sure everyone’s going to love the latest entry in the Harry Potter canon.
