After Charles Bronson’s unconventional proposal to Paula Williamson this week, it seems she has some unusual ideas for their wedding night.
Jaws dropped to the floor this week, after Britain’s most ‘notorious’ criminal proposed to the Coronation Street actress by singing Frank Sinatra’s My Way down the phone.
This seems like nothing in comparison to the 36-year-old’s next revelation though.
The former Hollyoaks actress can’t stop gushing about how ‘madly in love’ she is with Britain’s most infamous inmate and has even confessed she’d ‘happily’ spend her wedding night in his cell.
It wouldn’t be many people’s first choice, but each to their own.
After getting engaged on Valentine’s day, the unlikely duo plan to wed in August in the prison chapel, on Paula’s birthday.
Paula told the Daily Mail:
My mum’s concerned. But Dad says, at 36, she can’t tell me how to live my life.
Ultimately, they just want me to be happy.
I’m madly in love with Charlie and he’s madly in love with me.
But even I can’t believe I’m marrying Britain’s most notorious prisoner.
Sadly, Paula’s dreams of spending her wedding night inside her 64-year-old fiance’s cell have been dashed as she told the Daily Mail ‘it’s not allowed’.
Despite Bronson serving a life sentence for armed robbery, kidnap and violence, Paula has high hopes they will one day be able to be a ‘normal couple’.
I don’t think the armed robber is getting out anytime soon though.
So it may be a while before Bronson’s long-suffering fiance can have a wedding night at all.
