In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Dykstra spoke at length about Sheen who he was friends with for many years although currently no more.

Dykstra alleged many things including that Sheen had withheld his HIV-positive diagnosis from various sexual partners and that he had helped arrange the murder of an ex-assistant.

In 2012 the body of the newly fired assistant of Sheen, Rick Calamaro, was discovered by his maid on July 1 in his Fairfax apartment.

The autopsy noted that the 50-year-old had high levels of Fentanyl, a powerful opioid, in his body and that he had suffered from depression and had been taking a mixture of medication to treat pain and anxiety.

It concluded that ‘based on the history and circumstances as currently, the manner of death is accident’.

However, Dykstra has now suggested that Calamaro was writing a tell-all book about Sheen which led to the actor’s decision to have him ‘iced’.

Before he went to jail for grand theft auto and filing a false financial statement, Dykstra told Sheen about the book:

Before I went [to jail], I said, ‘Dude, this guy, he is writing a fucking book, you got to fire him’.

When he came out of prison, Dykstra learnt of Calamaro’s overdose and subsequent death and decided to confront Sheen about it.

Asking Sheen ‘what the f*** happened to Calamaro’, the actor told Dykstra:

You mean Dead Rick? What f***ing happened is the motherf***er tried to blackmail me just like you said — wanted $5 million.

I had him f***ing iced. I had a hot dose put in there.

The slang used here refers to a lethal intravenous injection that is prepared for and used on an unsuspecting victim.

It is important to note that Dykstra has not yet offered up any proof to back up his accusation with Sheen’s currently lawyer, Shane Bernand, explicitly denying it.

He also referenced the ex-convict’s ‘laundry list of crimes’ to demonstrate that his ‘disturbing, vile and outright ridiculous claims’ are not to be trusted.

Sheen’s longtime friend Tony Todd also added that if he had arranged the murder, there was no way he would tell Dykstra about it.

During the same interview Dykstra also claimed that Sheen is on the verge of being prosecuted for knowingly spreading his HIV disease.

According to the former-baseball player, the actor is also currently under federal investigation for tax and wire fraud.
