You can’t always have it your way.
That’s what one two-timer found out after he got caught out posting a damning comment on Burger King’s Instagram page.
Commenting on a post, he whinged it took ‘his girl’ 20 minutes to order at a drive-thru last night, but concluded the whoppers were ‘worth it’.
What wasn’t ‘worth it’, however, was probably posting about ‘his girl’ on the fast food chain’s Instagram page in the first place. Turns out, his girlfriend wasn’t with him at BK last night – another woman was.
Replying to his comment, his understandably royally pissed off girlfriend wrote: “Umm excuse me @jordan_vonsmith86??? I don’t recall going last night or ever liking Burger King, who are you talking about?”
She called him out for not answering his phone too.
The conversation was probably meant for the privacy of their home, or even phone, but the pair decided to continue the heated exchange in full view of BK’s one million followers.
Instagram is apparently the platform Jordan prefers to communicate with his girlfriend on, so he wrote back: “@shanlee_rose you need to chill out, I was with @kitcass01 and we were just catching up.”
Probably not a good move to tag the girl you’re cheating with…
The other woman – @kitcass01 – then pleaded with Jordan not to ‘bring her into it’, but it was too late. Responding to her boyfriend’s alleged lover, Rose responded: “Fuck you, you brought yourself into this you fat bitch.”
She then signs off by telling von Smith: “Hope the whoppers were worth it. Your shits outside.”
Brutal.
As the dust settled, one bystander was left saying: “Did I seriously just witness a break-up on BK’s Instagram.”
Not exactly an honourable way to break things up, but hey, it was entertaining.
There have also been murmurings that this was set up by Burger King as guerilla marketing and though it does look a little like that, let’s just make believe this was all real and that entertaining, huh? Sweet.
