Check Out Trailers For Titanfall 2 Campaign and Multiplayer Modes

I dunno if you’ve noticed, but E3 is currently happening all around us. As such, publisher EA has shared a load of new details on Titanfall 2, along with a shiny new single player campaign trailer.

Developer Respawn Entertainment also confirmed that the game will be launching worldwide on October 28, 2016 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Vince Zampella, CEO of Respawn Entertainment said:

With the original Titanfall, we focused on nailing the gameplay and reinventing the way you move and fight in a first person shooter. With Titanfall 2, we’re building on that foundation by introducing a bespoke single player campaign backed by a deeper multiplayer experience that together will once again push the shooter genre forward.

You’ll be glad to know that the campaign is playable offline, and promises to deliver an experience that explores the “unique bond between man and machine” – hopefully not like that time my uncle tried to put his no-no in the hoover.

We’ll be playing as a hotshot rifleman with aspirations of becoming an elite pilot – as the story begins, he teams up with a veteran Titan (basically a giant robot battle suit) to carry out a mission he was never intended for. Naughty rebel.

Expect plenty of robotic chaos thanks to six new Titans, as well as deeper pilot abilities, loads more customisation options, and an in-depth progression system for multiplayer mode.

There’s also a wonderful new grappling hook tool for multiplayer mode that should help overcome the casual/pro divide that emerged in the original Titanfall.

Less dexterous players such as myself will be able to use this item to build up speed and height when they’re zipping around outside of their mech suits – Check out the single player and multiplayer trailers just below.

Meanwhile, Respawn also announced a ridiculous special collector’s edition of Titanfall 2 that comes with a full scale replica pilot’s helmet for the modest price of $250 (about £180).

The replica pilot’s helmet comes with a blue, light-up, translucent faceplate, functional tactical ARC rail system and stand. It’ll also come with a tactical spotlight and targeting laser sight – you know, the kind of stuff you just need on a day-to-day basis.

The Vanguard Edition also comes with a few other treats, including an 8GB dog tag USB drive, and a field journal (for all your Titanfall 2 feelings).

As you’d expect, The Vanguard Edition also comes with a deluxe version of Titanfall 2. The whole gloriously over the top package will be available at launch.
