Teenager Amy Sharp thought her troubles were over, after she somehow managed to escape from her prison in Sydney just over a week ago.

However, the 18-year-old was utterly mortified after discovering that the police and media had been circulating these rather unflattering mugshots in their appeal to the public.

Because looking good is clearly much more important than her freedom, Amy decided to reply to 7 News Sydney’s Facebook post.

The cocky teen included a (marginally) better photo, writing: “Can you use this photo, please and thank you… Yours truly, Amy Sharp xx”.

Either she has some seriously large balls or is just an absolute moron. Probably the latter, as some commenters said that the police would have been able to track her whereabouts using her post.

Whether they went down that avenue or not, they did manage to arrest her in the early hours of yesterday morning.
