Mysterious footage has emerged showing a strange flying object shooting across the sky before ‘leaking’ an unknown gas into the sky.
The unusual recording was captured by a Chilean Navy helicopter who recorded the bizarre incident in November 2014.
After two years of investigation, authorities have had to admit defeat in trying to figure out a.) what the baffling object is and b.) what on earth the weird gas is protruding from the back if it.
The Chilean government agency, CEFAA, responsible for investigating UFOS and strange sightings, took the tape for analysis, Yahoo reports.
But after two gruelling years of examination they have now revealed the ominous recording has completely mystified them.
Director of CEFAA General Ricardo Bermúdez admitted:
We do not know what it was.
The pilot who witnessed the astonishing event wasn’t just a newbie to the Navy, he was an established captain with years of experience under his belt.
He described the bizarre object as a ‘flat, elongated structure’ with ‘two thermal spotlights like discharges that did not coincide with the axel of motion.’
Stranger still, the flight technician saw it too and described it as ‘white with a semi-oval shape on the horizontal axis.’
Mario Avila, a nuclear chemist involved in the investigations, interviewed the two men.
He said:
I was very impressed by these witnesses.
They were highly trained professionals with many years experience, and they were absolutely certain that they could not explain what they saw.
The photo analysts confirmed that the object was indeed a ‘real 3D’ structure with volume and had ‘control in its movements.’
The experts involved in the analysis said there was no evidence of ‘alteration of the video’ and committee members confirmed that there was no way it could be an aeroplane, a bird, insect, drone, parachute or hang glider…
They also struggled to understand what the material was that can be seen training behind the strange object…

Stranger still, the agency was involved in trying to unravel a case of a mysterious UFO sighting two years ago which was never solved.
