Officers entered Brown’s home at 1pm PDT after obtaining a search warrant. Brown’s lawyer, Mark Geragos, was at the home as LAPD Robbery-Homicide detectives searched the property.

Speaking at a press conference after the incident officers denied rumours that a SWAT Team had been dispatched to end the siege and that guests left the house before Brown himself.

Police surrounded Brown’s home earlier today after it was claimed that he threatened a young woman with a gun after an argument broke out over jewellery.

The woman, Bayleen Curran, called 911 and police were dispatched to Brown’s mansion in Tarzana, on the outskirts of LA, but he refused to allow them entry forcing police to wait for a warrant before they could enter the house.

Lieutenant Chris Ramirez of the Los Angeles Police Department told reporters at a press conference that officers responded to a phone call at three this morning, from a woman asking for assistance.

The situation is still being streamed live:

Ramirez went on to confirm that the incident involved the residence of Mr. Chris Brown, where officers responded and met with the woman.

In an interview with TMZ Bayleen Curran claimed that she had spent some time in the mansion but that things took a turn after one of Chris’s crew displayed a piece of jewellery.

Baylee claims she moved to touch it when things turned ugly and Brown turned on her pulling a gun from his side and pointing it at her, before demanding she ‘get the fuck out’.

After that one of Brown’s entourage walked her out of the mansion keeping her shoes and phone in his hands. When they arrived at the gate he demanded that she sign a none disclosure in return for her shoes and phone, an offer which she declined.

While his house was under siege Brown made a number of videos and posted them to Instagram declaring his innocence, saying: ‘I’m innocent, I’m tired of hearing this shit’.

In one Instagram post Brown said:

I don’t care y’all going to stay playing with me like I’m the villain out here, like I’m going crazy … good luck when you get the warrant or whatever you need to do. You’re going to walk right up in here and you’re going to see nothing you idiots.

Police are yet to determine exactly what went on in the house and the LAPD are currently searching the house in an attempt to get a better understanding of what actually happened.

Earlier there were accusations that Brown had thrown a bag of drugs and weapons, including a gun, out of a window for police to find.

Brown has had a number of run-ins with the law in the last few years and he notoriously spent 6 years on probation for beating his then girlfriend Rihanna in 2009.
