The Jurassic World actor shared the news on Monday morning (January 14), with a cute photo of Katherine, 29, sporting her beautiful, large diamond engagement ring.

Announcing the exciting news, Chris told his Instagram followers alongside the adorable snap:
Sweet Katherine, so happy you said yes! I’m thrilled to be marrying you. Proud to live boldly in faith with you. Here we go!
It comes just three months after Chris, 39, finalised his divorce from ex-wife Anna Faris, after eight years of marriage.
The American actors, who met while filming the romantic comedy Take Me Home Tonight, shared messages on social media saying attempts to save their relationship had failed.
Faris and Pratt made the joint announcement saying:
We are sad to announce we are legally separating. We tried hard for a long time, and we’re really disappointed.
We still have love for each other, will always cherish our time together and continue to have the deepest respect for one another.
Pratt, 39, and Faris, 41, who were married in 2009, have a son named Jack.
Faris (Lost in Translation, Entourage, The Dictator) stood alongside Pratt (Jurassic World, Parks and Recreation, Guardians of the Galaxy) when his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame was unveiled in 2017.
Pratt paid tribute to his wife, saying:
Without you, none of this would mean anything.
PAThe Parks and Recreation actor was first romantically linked to Katherine, the eldest daughter of Arnold Schwarzenegger, in June 2018, when they were spotted spending Father’s Day together.
Chris and Katherine went public with their relationship on her birthday in December, when the actor posted a sweet montage of their photos.
He captioned it with the message:
Happy Birthday Chief! Your smile lights up the room. I’ve cherished our time together. Thrilled God put you in my life. Thankful for the laughs, kisses, talks, hikes, love and care.
Katherine is a published author, daughter of the news journalist Maria Shriver, and relative of the Kennedy family. She’s actually the great niece of John F. Kennedy, the 35th President of the United States.
Katherine and Chris have been dating for what looks like a happy seven months.
