The Notorious Conor McGregor has been left red-faced after his brand new £185,000 Lamborghini was towed from the streets of Dublin.
Just days after the UFC champion teased his idea for a new luxury car importing business, McGregor’s Lamborghini Huracan Avio was towed on Thursday.
McGregor has plans to ship supercars over to Ireland, writing on his Instagram page, ‘Our roads will look very different in years to come and it starts NOW!’
Well The Notorious certainly made that prophecy come true quicker than expected – just not according to the plan.
After parking his supercar on double yellow lines in Dublin on Thursday, McGregor’s car was swiftly towed, entirely changing the landscape of the local urban scene.
McGregor has been showing off the car, which set him back £185,000, on his Instagram page, dropping his new idea for a business venture too.
McGregor wrote:
This Lamborghini Huracan Avio is the only one of it’s kind in Ireland! We are in the process of building a network here where we will bring multiple high end luxury motor vehicles on to Irish shores for sale and supply!
Our roads will look very different in years to come and it starts NOW! Check them out and stay tuned!
We are only just warming up with this beast! Something BIG is coming!
Yet, eagle-eyed Dubliner, Ronan Connolly, posted an image to his Twitter account showing Conor’s car being towed – so we might have to wait a little longer to see a car this big and flash on the Dublin streets again.
However, it later emerged that the car is in fact a rental he’d paid a shit-ton to show off in.
…wonder what sharp words McGregor will orate to talk his way out of this one.
