A controversial new VR game lets you experience what it was like in the Twin Towers during 9/11.
The immersive virtual reality experience, called [08:46], lets people see what it was like in the towers when the planes hit.
[08:46] was removed, then re-uploaded to the Oculus Share platform, where according to Konbini a note said:
Based on countless hours of research in order to try to properly recreate the atmosphere and dynamics within the top floors of the towers, [08:46] was designed and developed as a school project during three months by a six member team, working in close collaboration with two actors for mocap and voice acting.
846 Studios launched the project, it took three months to develop with two actors, used for both voice and motion capturing.
