The latest video to surface involves an officer in Florida, who is seen throwing peanuts at a homeless man as he is handcuffed in custody.
Herald-Tribune To add further insult to this already extremely dehumanising experience, the officer also allegedly gave the homeless man “dog commands” as he threw the peanuts at his mouth.
The incident occurred earlier in the month, and since then the officer involved, Andrew Halpin, has been suspended, pending the outcome of an investigation.
