It’s a terrible time to be a police officer in America, all the disgusting, violent behaviour you used to be able to get away with is now being broadcast to the world. Poor guys.
The latest video to surface involves an officer in Florida, who is seen throwing peanuts at a homeless man as he is handcuffed in custody.
To add further insult to this already extremely dehumanising experience, the officer also allegedly gave the homeless man “dog commands” as he threw the peanuts at his mouth.
The incident occurred earlier in the month, and since then the officer involved, Andrew Halpin, has been suspended, pending the outcome of an investigation.
