No stranger to controversy, Tony Blair may be about to make the most contentious move in his political career…

…No who am I kidding, nothing can beat the Iraq intervention.

But this is still pretty out there – Blair has been getting cosy with Donal Trump’s son-in-law and the disgraced Prime Minister is rumoured to be joining Trump’s gang as an advisor, the Daily Star reports.

Isn’t that a big fuck you to the the UK after we gave him three landslide elections in a row and he took us to war and supported politics’ biggest buffoon, Bush.

He now nuzzles at the teat of another POTUS, lunching with Jared Kushner, the business tycoon married to Trump’s daughter Ivanka.

Kushner, 35, is thought to have quite a lot of influence over Trump and was seen dining with the ex-Labour leader at posh restaurant Harry Cipriani at the Sherry Netherland Hotel on Wednesday.

Being a British citizen, 63-year-old Blair is not allowed to take on an official role in Trump’s team, but may be made into an advisory minion along with Farage.

Since being hailed a war criminal and been hauled over hot coals for his intervention in Iraq, Blair has raked in millions of pounds by advising on questionable regimes around the world, from the Middle East to Kazakhstan.

Who knew Farage and Blair would have something in common – irrelevance.

It does crazy things to people. Just look at Jeremy Clarkson go.
