The baby’s aunt, Tiava Banner, posted a Facebook status pleading for people to contact her if they had any info about the whereabouts of her nephew, The Independent reports.

The post, which was shared on Facebook over 22,000 times, seemed to work as around an hour later, the baby was found alive and well, after it was discovered by a local resident who’d taken the baby into their home.

Tiava later updated her post, to thank a woman named Joy Ruez, writing: “Found! Huge thank you to Joy Ruez. Thanks to all of those on Facebook who helped us and sent us messages of support.”
