Real Madrid footballer Cristiano Ronaldo has become the father of twins from a surrogate mother, it has been reported.
The children, a boy and a girl, have been named Eva and Mateo and were born on Thursday according to Portuguese TV channel SIC.
The channel said it was a ‘secret’ that Ronaldo had yet to reveal to the rest of the world.
The 32-year-old captain of Portugal’s victorious Euro 2016 team had his first son, Cristiano Junior in 2010 after allegedly impregnating a 20-year-old who he had a one night stand with, though he has not confirmed this.
Ronaldo is currently dating Spanish model Georgina Rodriguez, but reports say that a surrogate mother on the west coast of the U.S was heavily pregnant and expecting babies ‘very soon’.
Cristiano Ronaldo Jr, known as Cristianinho, is now six and does not know who his mother is, but Ronaldo’s family claim she was a surrogate.
There has been no official confirmation of the news from the footballer or his agents but several Portuguese media outlets were running the story on Friday.
