Fans of Daredevil are in for a treat as the show starts to film its second season, with the news that Elektra has been cast.
The female character had been rumoured to feature in the first season, yet after casting didn’t quite work out, producers decided to shelve the idea of introducing the character until they found their perfect Elektra, and it seems they have done just that with Elodie Yung.
Elektra is well known to fans of Daredevil, after appearing in the (rather terrible) film and also being handed her own spinoff.
The second season of Daredevil will air on Netflix in 2016, and looks set to be a cracker, with a host of additions to the cast, not just Elektra, with Frank Castle, or The Punisher as you might know him, set to make his series debut.
