Dark Truth Behind Image Of Kate Middleton With A Black Eye

A shocking image of the Duchess of Cambridge with a black eye has been circulating all over the Internet in recent days.

Many feared for Kate Middleton‘s safety after seeing the photo, which also featured the caption ‘Kate finally reveals what caused the dispute’-  implying domestic violence.

But to the more trained eye it’s rather clear that the image has been photoshopped and it turned out to be a sick advertisement for a face cream product.

The advert has popped up on several major news websites Mammamia reports, which if you click instead takes you through to a piece titled ‘Princess Kate Middleton Will Spend Time Away From the Royal Family To Campaign For Breakthrough Skincare Line!’.

Many have been sucked in by the premise of domestic violence and the promise of celebrity news, but have instead clicked through to a fake article of fake news and even a fake celebrity endorsement to boot.

But what’s probably even more worrying though is that this skincare line featured, Junivive, does in fact exist and has apparently had a history of scamming customers in the past.

Keeping the scamming element out of it, using domestic violence to attract people’s attention is just completely and utterly shameful and undermines what a serious issue it truly is.

This is just another wake-up call that we all need to be more literate in fake news and that you really can’t believe everything you see on the Internet.
