Dave Grohl Brings Fan On Stage To Play Drums For His 18th Birthday

At a recent Foo Fighters show, Dave Grohl decided to once more remind people that he’s the nicest guy in music when he brought a fan on stage to play drums on one of their songs.

Grohl, sat on his epic throne of guitars because of his broken leg, spotted a young lad called Anthony holding up a sign that said “It’s my birthday, can I play drums?”

And, in true Grohl style, the Foo Fighters frontman was more than happy to oblige.

After jumping on stage the fan hugged Grohl and drummer Taylor Hawkins, as the singer jokingly warned him that he “better not suck”.

Grohl said:

If you suck on the drums, I will personally tar and feather your ass, now get on those drums right now!

Fortunately, Anthony was more than up to the challenge and cracked out a fantastic rendition of the Foo Fighters classic ‘Big Me’.

Birthday presents don’t come any better than this! It’s all downhill from here, Anthony…
