YouTubeDavid Cameron went for the jugular at Prime Minister’s Questions today and attacked Jeremy Corbyn’s sense of style.
The prime minister called the opposition leader out on his appearance, by saying his mother would advise Labour’s top dog to ‘put on a proper suit, do up your tie and sing the national anthem’.
Cue the ever-annoying jeers, inaudible bullshit encouragement and twattish back-slapping that makes up a depressingly large amount of a session in Westminster.

Jeremy Corbyn‘s reply was simple and cutting, demonstrating the stark contrast in his and Mr Cameron’s priorities.
He said:
My late mother would have said, ‘stand up for the principle of a health service free at the point of use for everybody’, because that’s what she dedicated her life to, as did many of her generation.
He followed that reply with a pointed tweet:

I’m sure the PM may want his opponent to invest his tax-payer funded salary on the finest suit Savile Row can offer, but frankly I’d rather politicians were focused on the issues, not their counterpart’s fashion choices.
