The giants of Jack and the Beanstalk and Game of Thrones may not be as far-fetched as we think.
Massive imprints that appear to be humanoid have been discovered – but they’re 57 centimetres long and 20 centimetres wide.
Found in August in Gizhou, the southwestern province of China, each footprint extends to a depth of three centimetres, suggesting the print came from a creature with a pretty impressive weight.

While the discovery is controversial, many are suggesting the findings prove the existence of giants on Earth.
And it’s not the first time a giant ‘footprint’ has been found.
In South Africa, a four foot long fossilised imprint has been dubbed The Footprint of God.
According to Michael Tellinger, who uploaded a video of his visit to the site in 2012, the 200 million year old ‘footprint’ would have belonged to someone 24 to 27 foot tall.
Mind you, this footprint is much bigger than the one recently found in China. So either we’re dealing with a few new species of ancient giants that roamed the Earth millions of years ago or our brains are seeing what they want to see.
It’d definitely be much cooler if they were actually giant footprints, though.
