In one of his first tweets as the President of the United States, Donald J. Trump continued his questionable use of the English language by managing to misspell the word ‘honoured’.
And no, we’re not even taking this piss out of how Americans spell ‘honoured’.
Instead of using the US spelling of ‘honored’ or the English spelling of ‘honoured’ he spelt it in his own unique way, The Mirror reports.
Posting on the morning of his inauguration, Trump tweeted:

*Facepalm*. To be fair to him, spelling is very hard. Anyway, his tweet was deleted pretty quickly.
But now under more scrutiny than ever, the Twittersphere quickly grabbed a screenshot and began collectively mocking the new President.
You can't make this shit up. He can't even spell and he's going to have the NUKE codes? #saveusall #DonaldTrump pic.twitter.com/Gy9cZE2PmH

He tried tweeting it again – without the spelling mistake – and deleted it once more. Finally, it was tweeted out with no spelling mistakes and a picture attached.
Yeah, it is possible it could have been one of his employees – but considering this isn’t the first time he’s struggled spelling the word, we’re betting it’s The Donald’s handy work.
Back in February last year, Trump tweeted: “Wow, every poll said I won the debate last night. Great honer!”
Maybe it’s a good thing he didn’t take the POTUS Twitter handle after all.
