Donald Trump has just declared war on North Korea, according to North Korea’s Foreign Minister.

Ri Yong-ho has insisted that North Korea reserves the right to take countermeasures in the escalating friction between the two nations, which could include shooting down US strategic bombers – even if they’re not over North Korea.

He even officially told the UN that a missile attack on the US mainland was inevitable after Trump called Kim Jong-un ‘Little Rocket Man’.

The official made the statements to reporters in New York.

He said:

The whole world should clearly remember it was the US who first declared war on our country.

Since the United States declared war on our country, we will have every right to make countermeasure, including the right to shoot down United States strategic bombers even when they are not inside the airspace border of our country.

Trump claimed our leadership would not be around much longer. He declared war on our country.

These worrying comments are made amid a flurry of inflammatory exchanges between the two nations, one of which saw Trump claiming North Korea wouldn’t be around long if their battle continued.

The foreign minister returned to the microphones before getting into his car to add:

In light of the declaration of war by Trump, all options will be on the operations table of the supreme leadership of the DPRK.

The ‘rogue’ state has continued to increase its nuclear capabilities despite international sanctions and ostracisation from the international community.

The effects of these statements from North Korea have been felt all over the world, with stocks and shares in US companies plummeting as the news filtered down.

Donald Trump has recently conducted a strategic deployment of bombs on the coast of North Korea to display the USA’s military force.

In response, Kim Jong-un released a propaganda video which showed North Korean missiles blowing up US aircraft carriers.
