The Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump was rushed off stage last night after a major security scare during a rally.

Trump was making a speech in Reno, Nevada when bodyguards interrupted The Apprentice star’s speech, taking him back stage as quickly as possible.

Security officers then took down the man who sparked the incident and he was later arrested by police officers in Reno, The Daily Star reports.

It was initially believed that the man was carrying a gun and he was identified as Austyn Crites, 33, a protester for the Republicans against Trump group.
