People are having a field day with Donald Trump and his tweets… again.
On Tuesday night, the President posted a message of condolence to Sutherland Springs, Texas after a mass shooting.
The only problem, was the shooting happened on 5th November, ten days ago.
No way. I thought people were joking. Donald Trump actually did tweet about the wrong mass shooting. Good lord. I know he's not the brightest, but it's wild we have such a big issue that POTUS can mix up the tragedies. pic.twitter.com/ec9ho0gUsJ

The POTUS tweeted:
May God be with the people of Sutherland Springs, Texas. The FBI and Law Enforcement has arrived.
Why could this be? Well, there’s a few reasons.
One is, Donald Trump, or whoever he might dictate to, sent the tweet a second time by accident?
The second is, (and probably most likely), he has a stock selection of tweets which can be applied to various social happenings – sadly, in America, mass shootings aren’t anything out of the ordinary.
It makes sense for a figure as esteemed as the president to be prepared to address the nation after one of them.
May God be w/ the people of Sutherland Springs, Texas. The FBI & law enforcement are on the scene. I am monitoring the situation from Japan.

The tweet was posted at 11:34pm and has since been removed from the social media platform.
It could’ve possibly been about the shooting at the Rancho Tehama Elementary School in northern California on Tuesday.
People on Twitter were suitably bemused:
Did u just copy & paste this & forget to change the city?

My God be with the people of [insert next mass shooting location here]. The FBI and Law Enforcement *have* (correct grammar mine) arrived. #GunControlNow #TrumpIsAMoron

The President of the United States is tweeting at midnight about the wrong mass shooting and it's like the 500th most insane Trump story of the week.

Trump just tweeted again about the church shooting in Sutherland Springs. The 1st tweet was the day of the event, 9 days ago. Is this his shooting tweet template? He forgot to change the location to today's shooting: California. pic.twitter.com/IToC7UXkyP

It comes at a rough time for the president, who was recently sentenced to death by North Korea for insulting leader Kim Jong-un.
The state media said the President of the US deserved the death penalty and also called him a coward for cancelling the visit to the Korean DMZ.
The statements came from the ruling party newspaper Rodong Sinmum, in which they admonished Trump for his visit to South Korea just last week.
According to The Guardian, the editorial said:
The worst crime for which he can never be pardoned is that he dared [to] malignantly hurt the dignity of the supreme leadership.
He should know he is just a hideous criminal sentenced to death by the Korean people.
Why would Kim Jong-un insult me by calling me "old," when I would NEVER call him "short and fat?" Oh well, I try so hard to be his friend – and maybe someday that will happen!

This comes after the bizarre, childish exchange of words between the two leaders, which culminated in a tweet from the US President saying he would never call him ‘short and fat’.
The North Korean paper also lodged a dig at Trump for his failed attempt to go to the DMZ due to bad weather.
The paper claimed it wasn’t the weather which resulted in the cancelled visit, but Trump’s cowardice to ‘face the glaring eyes of our troops’.
This also comes after North Korea reportedly sent a chilling warning to Vladimir Putin regarding a nuclear attack on the US.
Russia’s leader, Vladimir Putin, then passed the info straight to Washington, which has resulted in a change of approach from President Donald Trump.
However, officials from the Kremlin have denied any such knowledge of a personal correspondence between Kim Jong-un and their Commander in Chief, Vladimir Putin.
The message was apparently conveyed between the two nations by a letter, though the existence of such a letter has been denied officially, reports Sputnik.
This comes as Putin meets with Trump in Vietnam – all with the spectre of nuclear war hanging over their heads.
Interesting times we live in. I try so much for the world to be friends – and maybe someday that will happen!
