Donald Trump’s Italy Tweet Could Be His Most Ridiculous Yet

In a deep, wide, turbulent ocean of sometimes damaging, often baffling and always intriguing Tweets, Donald Trump’s account is a goldmine of entertainment.

But the 45th’s latest foray into the Twittersphere is undoubtedly up there with some of his most head-scratching offerings to date, reports The Mirror.

Tweeting about his arrival back in the U.S following his attendance at the G7 summit in Sicily, Mr trump posted an update the Time Lord himself would’ve been proud of.

And here it is:

The quickly deleted tweet read:

Just arrived in Italy after having a very successful Nato meeting in Brussels.

Told other nations they must pay more, not fair to U.S.

It was posted at 12.57pm on Sunday (GMT) roughly 11 hours after the President stepped back into the White House on returning from Italy.

He later replaced the tweet, with the more appropriate:

Just returned from Europe. Trip was a great success for America. Hard work but big results!

I guess we can put that one down to jet lag, as President Trump had just returned from an entire week and a half of talking to the always welcoming Saudis, the Israeli government and the pope.

But it was a gruelling regime of aggressive handshakes, barging through crowds and public attacks on NATO that must’ve really taken it out of him.

On top of that, our very own strong and stable leader Mrs May then had the cheek to confront him over the string of highly damaging leaks about the Manchester terror attack to U.S media.

Apparently not yet content, the President then proceeded to tell his fellow G7 leaders that ‘the Germans are bad, very bad’.

We’ll put his mis-tweet down to the fact that he was ‘tired, very tired’.
