EA Offering Free DLC For Battlefield Games

In what can only be considered a sign that the end of days is nigh, EA are actually giving out free DLC for Battlefield 4 and Battlefield Hardline.

It seems the intention is to build hype around the series in time for the announcement of Battlefield 5, which coming this Friday (May 6) at 9pm UK time.

So, you can get the Battlefield 4 add-on Dragon’s Teeth, as well as the Hardline Robbery DLC between now and May 10.

This lovely gift  is available on all platforms too: PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC. New community missions will be added too, so it looks like we’ll all be revisiting Battlefield this week (though I suspect a few folk might be dusting off Modern Warfare in light of recent events)

Dragon’s Teeth contains four new maps, as well as the 12 v 12 Chainlink game mode. Hardline’s Robbery expansion (which launched last September) also includes four maps, a new competitive mode called Squad Heist, and some new weapons to play with.

EA said that this promotion will continue to offer free DLC over the next few months, so stay tuned.

It probably won’t be long before they return to their old ways and charge you 50p to download the menu screen or something ridiculous, so we should enjoy this while we can.
