According to reports, the musical superstar’s company, Ed Sheeran LTD, of which he is a director, made £5,679,456 in pre-tax profits in 2014, which is £15,560 EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.
That amount of money is pretty mind boggling, but considering Sheeran has cracked the USA and is one of the nicest guys in the music industry, it’s not really that surprising.
Rolling Stone One source spoke to The Sun and claimed:
Ed is one of the hardest-working musicians in the business. He’s played a staggering number of tour dates in the past year or two. This figure is a glimpse of what he’s earned from x and his tour.
This time next year these figures – which are already huge – will be even bigger.
Sheeran’s last album, X, went to number one in 15 different countries, so the cash will probably be rolling in for sometime yet.
