Model and actor Paige Butcher has confirmed she is pregnant with Eddie Murphy’s 10th child.
The Hollywood couple – who have been an item since 2012 – already share a two-year-old daughter Izzy and are now reportedly set to bring a new addition to their family at some point around Christmastime.
39-year-old Paige was recently papped while out and about in Los Angeles, her baby bump clearly showing beneath a pretty floral maxi dress.
In a statement to People magazine, a representative for the expectant couple said:
Eddie Murphy and longtime girlfriend Paige Butcher are pleased to announce that they are expecting their second child in December.
Now, Eddie is hardly a newbie to fatherhood and is probably well primed to enter the nappy changing Olympics at this point.
Indeed, it certainly seems as though Eddie has been pretty busy on- and off-set over the last three decades. The prolific parent already has nine other children, with this new baby bringing the number up to a total of 10.
Fortunately, most of his kids are fully grown, meaning Eddie doesn’t have to run them all around in a school bus or anything.
The Trading Places actor’s oldest child is 29-year-old Eric, who he had with Paulette McNeely. His second child, 27-year-old Christian, was born to his ex-girlfriend Tamara Hood.
Eddie then went on to have five kids with ex-wife, Nicole Mitchell Murphy: 28-year-old Bria, Miles Mitchell, 25, Shayne Audra, 23, Zola Ivy, 18, Bella Zahra, 16.
Speaking about their co-parenting post marriage back in 2012, Nicole told Radar:
Eddie and I are friends; he’s my babies’ daddy, so we speak to each other and have a great relationship and I think that’s important when you have children involved.
His third youngest, Angel Iris, 11, was conceived during his relationship with former Spice Girl and leopard print legend Mel B. At the time, Eddie took a blood test to confirm Angel was his, however he and Mel have reportedly since made peace.
Y’all. Eddie Murphy is having a 10th child. If none of them are going to follow in his stand up footsteps, then the LEAST they can do is continue the Shrek franchise. WE NEED MORE SMASHMOUTH.

Speaking with Entertainment Tonight back in 2106, the Shrek actor spoke of the joy his children had brought him over the years:
The brightest part of my life is my kids.
My relationship with them, and my world revolves around them — even the old, gray bald ones.
Fans have taken to social media to wish the Coming to America star all the best as his ever expanding brood reaches double digits.
One person remarked:

I for one can one hundred per cent imagine Eddie starring in a remake of Cheaper by the (Nearly) Dozen, playing the sort of disaster-prone yet ultimately endearing character we saw in Daddy Day Care.
Congratulations to Eddie as the fruit of his loins becomes a full blown orchard.
