Eight-Year-Old Girl Confirmed Dead In Manchester Terror Attack

Eight-year-old Saffie Rose Roussos has been confirmed dead after becoming separated from her mother and sister during last night’s Manchester terror attack.

Saffie is the second victim of the harrowing suicide bomb attack to be identified after 18-year-old Georgina Callander.

The headteacher at Saffie’s school told the Guardian:

Saffie was simply a beautiful little girl in every aspect of the word. She was loved by everyone.

Saffie’s mother and sister are being treated for shrapnel injuries in separate hospitals, and appeals have been sent out in search of Saffie since her disappearance.

The cowardly attack left at least 22 people dead, many of them under 18-years-old, and over 50 injured when the bomb went off as crowds began to leave an Ariana Grande concert at the arena.

Greater Manchester Police is aware of the identity of the attacker and confirmed the it was carried out by a male carrying an improvised explosive device which he detonated, killing himself and many others.

A 23-Year-Old man was reportedly arrested in South Manchester in connection with the attack at an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester Arena.
