Ever had an embarrassing ringtone you’d rather no one heard?
You’re not alone – we all have. Including Emma Watson.
During an interview on ITV’s Lorraine this morning, Emma was speaking about her latest film Beauty And The Beast when something she probably wished never happened, happened – her Tina Turner ringtone started playing at full volume.
Yup, Harry Potter actress and all around good person Emma Watson gets called to the sound of Tina Turner’s 1989 hit Steamy Windows.
It sounds a little something like this:
Obviously a tad stunned by the awkward interruption, she explained: “That is so embarrassing! That is my phone. That is Tina Turner.”
Presenter Mark Heyes found the incident pretty amusing but Emma just looked increasingly embarrassed. As we probably all would.
But Heyes was able to put her at ease by telling her that she had the ‘best ringtone ever’. I mean, any Tina Turner ringtone is, really.
But a red-faced Emma apologised anyway, saying: “Well, I’m glad that I’m forgiven because it was Tina Turner otherwise that would have been terrible. I’m so sorry!”
Well, she’s definitely gone up in my books just for having that ringtone. Just when you thought Emma Watson couldn’t get any cooler.
