A video has emerged of a dog crying, moments after her puppies were rescued.
Details about where the young pups had been rescued from are thin on the ground, but only a cold-hearted bastard could deny it’s a moving moment.
Some of the YouTube commentators have a more pessimistic view of the video, however, with one user trying to bring us crashing back to reality:
If your dog has fluid coming out of its eyes, you might assume that the animal is crying. However, it’s important for pet owners to note that dogs cannot cry in the way that humans do. If a dog’s eyes are discharging liquid, it is because something is wrong, not because the animal is overcome with emotion.
