Looks like it’s time for another round of ‘someone’s predicted the end of the world’ contest, and apparently, it’s only four days away!
“But Jerry”, you furiously type to me from the comfort of your keyboard/smartphone, “Didn’t you just predict the end of the world this week with a theory about the Pyramids of Giza?”
Yes, it is our job after all and now, the latest theory involves the ‘Black Moon’ and the upcoming solar eclipse on 21 August.
The eclipse will be visible from America, but instead of being in awe and appreciating the mystery and majesty of the cosmos, Evangelical Christians believe it’s a marker for the prophesied Rapture.
They always find a way ruin things; music, art, literature and video games. Now they’re coming after space.
Pastor and YouTube conspiracy theorist, Paul Begley, who also hosts a radio show called Coming Apocalypse, is calling the upcoming solar eclipse and Black Moon a ‘prophetic sign’.
He told his faithful listeners to ‘sound the trumpet’ because we’re now ‘living in the last days’.
Begley is basing these claims on a passage from the Book of Joel which reads:
The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood, before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord.
I’m going to go out on a limb here and assume this is Pastor Begley’s first solar eclipse, however he’s not the only one who thinks the Earth’s days are numbered.
Mark Blitz author of God’s Day Timer says the upcoming eclipse is a precursor from God himself.
According to the Daily Star, Blitz believes:
Could God be giving us a warning that we need to repent or judgment will be coming to the United States? The timing couldn’t be clearer.
This also links back to David Meade’s theory about the Great Pyramids of Giza and the coming of Planet X, also known as Niburu, which will supposedly crash into Earth in October.
Either way it looks like we’re well and truly screwed, so whether we’ve got four days or two months it’s time to get your affairs in order.
