Dwaine Campbell was arrested with 51 wraps of heroin. He admitted to possessing the drugs with intent to supply, but when it was time for him to go up to court he refused to leave his cell in Swansea.
He claimed that he couldn’t understand anyone in the courtroom, and was worried that if he went to a Welsh jail he’d have the same problems.
Wales OnlineCampbell, originally from Wolverhampton, was allowed to be sentenced via video link, “so he can stay in the west Midlands.”
Some cynical people might argue that this is punishment enough.
