Eric Dier has sent the internet into a tizzy with an eyebrow raising ‘bulge’ picture.
The 24-year-old Tottenham midfielder uploaded a picture of himself to Instagram, showing him alongside Sporting Clube de Portugal president Frederico Varandas and fellow footballers Carlos Mané, Adrien Silva and Luís Nani.
In the caption, the Portugal raised player described the men as his ‘family’, as the sporting pals posed with their arms wrapped warmly around each other.
However, his fans’ gaze is being drawn to one thing and one thing only, and it wasn’t his big happy smile…
Eric appeared to have some sort of rolling pin shoved down the front of his trackie bottoms; causing envious eyes to pop out of sockets all over social media.
One amazed individual gasped:
No need of zooming, d*ck for days!
Another shrieked:
OMFG! what is inside those sweatpants!!
Aubergine emojis and hilarious memes quickly filled the comment section, with one person suggesting Eric could ‘knock out half of Portugal with that’. Another compared Eric getting out of bed in the morning to a rocket launching into space.
Eric isn’t the only sporting celeb to have broken the internet with his packed pants over the course of this year, which certainly appears to have been the official year of the trouser snake.
Back in March 2018, Conor McGregor caused jaws to drop after posting a revealing pic of himself in an extremely full pair of boxers. Of course, it’s usually Conor’s loud mouth and quick fists which get fans talking, but this time around it was another part of him altogether.
And in April 2018, John Cena attracted attention while being wrestled to the floor by The Undertaker, with a certain bump was being spotted. Not exactly the most convenient moment for his downstairs bits and bobs to prompt discussion…
Which mountainous jeans mounds will make the headlines as we head into the unknown territory of 2019? Only time will tell. But in the year 2018, Eric Dier has surely reigned victorious, appendage-wise.
Although Eric may well have won over a few admirers with this pic, he is already all loved up with product developer Maria Hansen (Sorry ladies…)
Speaking with The Times, Eric revealed what makes their relationship work so well:
What is important for me, and for her, is that she has her own job and her own life,
She works really hard and is very driven. She doesn’t mind my fame. If I am asked for a photo when we are out and about, she makes sure I am nice.
If I were not nice, I would probably get a slap across the back of my head.
Look, to be fair on the guy, for all we know Eric could have just popped a remote control in his pocket for him and the lads to all watch a nice game together later. Let’s just get our minds out of the gutter, shall we.
