As usual, at a Royal wedding, the eyes of the nation are on the star-studded guest list and in particular, our other princess, Kate Middleton.

The Duchess of Cambridge, who’s less than a month out of labour, looked radiant, but as people pointed out, perhaps a little tired.

Those on Twitter were quick to comment:

The public were truly unfair to Kate though, saying she looked ‘so so tired’ and even ‘stiff’.

Christy Johns said:

Kate Middleton looks so so tired. I would be too though. Still beautiful. Congrats, you got him!

The new royal baby is Prince William and Kate’s third child, and a younger sibling to four-year-old Prince George and two-year-old Princess Charlotte.

Kate gave birth on April 23 at the Lindo Wing of St. Mary’s Hospital in London, which is known for its extreme privacy, where the royal couple’s other children were born.

Kensington Palace tweeted:

Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was safely delivered of a son at 1101hrs. The baby weighs 8lbs 7oz.

The Duke of Cambridge was present for the birth. Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have shared their first official kiss as husband and wife.

The two were pronounced husband and wife at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle in front of family and friends, including The Queen, Prince Phillip, Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowels, as well as co-stars of the show, Suits.

During the ceremony, Meghan was walked down the aisle by Prince Charles after her father, Thomas Markle, was forced to pull out due to last minute heart surgery recently.

On the morning of the wedding, Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, accompanied her daughter to Windsor Castle, along with select members of the wedding party.

Meghan released a statement following her father’s decision to pull out of the wedding, in which she professes how she’s ‘always cared’ for him and hopes he can be given the time and space he needs to focus on his health.

She wowed millions of people across the world as she stepped out in her wedding dress.

Harry, flanked by best man and older brother Prince William, donned his household cavalry suit.

He sported a well-sculpted beard, despite it being a prerequisite for those who serve in the British army to be cleanly shaven.

Prince Harry was keen to make sure members of his mother’s family, the late Princess Diana, were involved with his big day too.

A statement from Kensington Palace confirmed:

In addition to having the support of The Queen, his father The Prince of Wales, and his brother Prince William as best man, Prince Harry is also keen to involve his mother’s family in his wedding.

All three siblings of Diana, Princess of Wales will be in attendance and Lady Jane Fellowes will give the reading.

Prince Harry and Ms. Markle both feel honoured that Lady Jane will be representing her family and helping to celebrate the memory of the late Princess on the wedding day.

According to Kensington Palace, the wedding was attended by 600 guests, a modestly small gathering compared to William and Kate’s wedding, which boasted 1,900 guests.

A group of 200 close acquaintances will be invited to an after-party at Frogmore House, a short walk from St George’s Chapel.

With three heirs to the throne to raise, and one of them not even a month old, I reckon we can let Kate off the odd yawn or lapse in attention.
