GettyIn case you didn’t hear about it already, not too long ago, Ewan McGregor filed for a divorce from his wife of 22 years.
It’s alleged McGregor had been having an affair with a Fargo co-star for six months prior to asking for a divorce to wife, Eve Mavrakis.
Now the Trainspotting actor has spoken out, claiming the couple had ‘irreconcilable differences’ which caused them to go their separate ways.
On the other side of things, Eve has now claimed she’s ‘upset’ due to the end of their relationship.
Polygram Filmed EntertainmentSpeaking to The Sun, the French production designer, said:
It’s disappointing and upsetting but my main concern is our four children are OK.
However as you can probably imagine, the couple’s children are pretty upset at the decision – with one of them, Esther, reportedly posting a song to Instagram written about her father.
In the song, she sings about ‘the sh*t I found online’, saying:
I don’t know to forgive. I don’t know if I can? Ruining me. Happy birthday to me, am I right?
The publication’s first expose on the affair came out on her 15th birthday.
GettyIt’s believed McGregor is now dating American actress Mary Elizabeth Winstead after a lengthy affair.
Winstead starred as one of the major characters in Fargo Season Three alongside McGregor.
Just last year Winstead herself got separated from her longterm partner and husband, Riley Stearns.
