One man from Florida managed to shoot his daughter in the arm while trying to teach her all about gun safety.
The situation was made worse by the fact that the man was actually an ex-Marine, meaning you’d think he would be clued up about gun safety and what not to do – but evidently not.
The incident took place in Davie, Florida, with officers called to the 7700 block of Northwest 34th Street at around 8.30 pm, with the girl seen being escorted out of the house ‘covered in blood’.
As of yet, the man has not been charged after being questioned in the back of a squad car, but police are currently investigating, with the case set to be sent to the State Attorney’s office for further review.
The young girl is thought to be in a stable condition, with neighbours and family friends insisting that her father is a good parent, and the accident was just a one off.
