The ex-lover of Anastasia Duval has revealed details of her intense relationship with her twin, Alexandria, who is currently facing charges for her sister’s murder.

Keith Weiss, a Florida chef has come forward with some disturbing information in the alleged murder of his ex, Anastasia Duval (previously known as Ann Dadow), telling People the twins’ relationship was ‘toxic’.

A fatal car crash involving the twins, Anastasia and Alexandria Duval (previously known as Alison Dadow) – in which Anastasia was fatally injured – made local news in Hawaii in May this year.

The tragedy took a dark turn when Alexandria was arrested on second-degree murder charges when it was alleged she had driven their Ford Explorer over a cliff in Hana town, Hawaii.

Although the initial second-degree murder charge against Alexandria was dropped, a grand jury has recently indicted her again on murder charges after new unspecified evidence has emerged.

The 38-year-old, who ran a successful yoga business with her twin, was arrested in New York, according to NY Mag.

At the time of the fatal crash, Maui News reported that witnesses had seen the twins arguing and ‘hair pulling’ in a car park before the incident occurred and police traffic investigators confirmed the accelerator of the vehicle was pushed to the floor.

While Alexandria had to be extracted from the SUV, Anastasia suffered fatal head trauma.

Since Alexandria has been rearrested, Weiss has come forward in an effort to shed light on the witness statements and has confirmed the volatile nature of the twins’ relationship.

Weiss even described witnessing a similar fight during his tumultuous six-month relationship with then Ann, between the sisters in his own car, saying he feared for his life thanks to their violent sisterly rivalry.

He told People:

The first time, Ann was driving, and they just started fighting.

She let go of the wheel and they were going back and forth with each other, oblivious to the obvious danger and the other cars around us. She almost lost control of the car.

There was just so much drama. They would really get into it. I remember this one time, the three of us were at the mall, and Ann smacked Alison in the back of the head. Hard.

They raged. They went back and forth with each other, pulling hair, pinching each other… it was as if they had blocked everything out around them.

I once got call from Ann saying, ‘Get over here now… I’m going to kill her.’

She actually started hitting Alison with the phone. I heard it… thump, thump, thump. They were both screaming at each other.

I get to their apartment and there’s broken glass everywhere from wine bottles and shattered glasses. There was blood everywhere, and the bedroom door was falling off its hinges. Both of them were sitting on the couch when I walked in, and they were like, ‘Hey… how are you doing?’

Alison had a bruise on her face. I asked them if they were OK, and they were like, ‘We’re good, we’re fine. We’re just watching a movie’. Meanwhile, all around them it’s total destruction. They seemed to not know they wanted to kill each other just minutes earlier.

Alexandria Duval’s bail is currently set at $3million (£2.4million) and should this case go to trial it’s set to be one of the most notorious in modern history.
