WikimediaManchester Airport has reportedly been evacuated following the discovery a potential explosive device.
As reported by the Daily Mirror the suspect package was apparently discovered in the departures area of terminal two.
The news was quickly posted to social media by passengers who claim they have been told to evacuate the building.

The evacuation has been confirmed by the airport, and online posts suggest staff in the building have told passengers the ‘suspect package’ tested positive twice for a potentially threatening device.
Due to an unattended bag being found outside terminal 2, the area has been cordoned off as a precaution, while an investigation takes place

This has resulted in some passengers being evacuated from part of the terminal. Any passengers checking into t2 should do so at the station

The bag has been cleared and the terminal is being reopened.
