A family got the shock of their lives when they returned home from holiday to find a man had been living in their house while they were away.

The Goldilocks impersonator, Zachary Jock, 21, was arrested after he was found inside family home in Columbia, Pennsylvania, on Sunday. The cheeky intruder was even wearing the family’s clothes, the Daily Mail reports.

According to Columbia Borough Police, while he ‘lived’ in the house Jock rearranged the furniture, ate their food and damaged the house.

The family also reported $2,800 (£1,983) worth of items were missing from the house, and police found several of their possessions in his backpack.

Jock has now been charged with burglary and theft, along with misdemeanours of criminal mischief and prohibited acts.

The 21-year-old, who’s believed to been in the house for at least two days, brought pills, alcohol, and cigarettes with him, police said.

Two knives had also been thrown into the ceiling on the first floor. A door, window, and various items in the house were also destroyed, bringing the estimated damage up to $1,075 (£761).

Jock lives in the neighboring town of Lebanon, about 26 miles away from the house. He’s currently being held in Lancaster County Jail with bail set at $25,000 (£17,600).

It could have been worse for Jock he only ended up in jail, he could have met three angry bears instead…
