Counter Strike is a fantastic videogame. But, like all the best multiplayer games, it has moments that make you want to ram your fist firmly into your computer screen with its blatant bullshittery.
Dragonu Ro gets this. He gets me. He gets you. That’s why he’s put our complicated feelings towards Counter Strike into a beautiful song. Set to the tune of Louis Armstrong’s What A Wonderful World. It speaks (or rather sings) for itself really, so I’ll just leave it below.
Whatever your ultimate feelings on Counter Strike, you can’t deny that Dragonu Ru has produced the finest song ever written about virtual terrorists and flash grenades. Granted, the competition isn’t exactly fierce.
Ewan Moore is a journalist at UNILAD Gaming who still quite hasn’t gotten out of his mid 00’s emo phase. After graduating from the University of Portsmouth in 2015 with a BA in Journalism & Media Studies (thanks for asking), he went on to do some freelance words for various places, including Kotaku, Den of Geek, and TheSixthAxis, before landing a full time gig at UNILAD in 2016.
