A father has allegedly killed his 13-year-old son after the boy found ‘compromising’ pictures of him in diapers and eating feces.
In November 2012, Dylan Redwine went missing in Colorado, while on a court-ordered visit with his father Mark.
Seven months later, the boy’s remains were found – scattered in southwestern Colorado mountains by wild animals.
Prosecutors have now said Redwine may have killed Dylan after he was confronted about ‘disturbing’ pictures.
After a four-and-a-half-year investigation, Redwine was arrested on Saturday and indicted by a grand jury with charges of second-degree murder and child abuse resulting in death.
Redwine constantly denied playing a part in his son’s death, even appearing on Dr Phil to blame his ex-wife for the murder of Dylan.

Dylan’s older brother Cory revealed he had seen the disturbing pictures, telling ABC7:
I have seen the photos. It shows him wearing women’s clothes and makeup and a diaper and then eating his feces from the diaper.
It was disgusting. We couldn’t believe it.
Elaine Hall, Dylan’s mother added that she believes he was murdered after confronting her ex-husband, saying on the True Crime podcast in 2015:
He may have said something that just didn’t set well with Mark and Mark reacted in a very violent way…obviously. Dylan is no longer here.
On Monday, the court was given an outline of the charges against him and bail was set at $1 million (£760,000).
Investigators said blood was found in multiple locations in Redwine’s living room, including on his sofa.
Cadaver dogs found the scent of a dead body in various locations in the home as well as on the clothes Redwine wore the night Dylan disappeared, according to the indictment.
The dogs also picked up the scent of a body in the bed of Redwine’s pickup truck.
Hikers reportedly found Dylan’s skull in the mountains back in 2015, according to 9News.
Investigators revealed the skull was found in difficult terrain, easily accessible by a road that Redwine was very familiar with.
According to the indictment, the skull had injuries consistent with blunt force trauma and two small markings that appeared to be tool marks from a knife,

Dylan’s mother said she has always believed her ex-husband killed Dylan, telling The Pine River Times:
I always have from day one, when he was missing.
Dylan had reportedly not been getting along with his father prior to his disappearance – he witnessed both his parents in the midst of a bitter divorce and custody battle.
According to the indictment, Hall told authorities her ex-husband told her he would ‘kill the kids before he let her have them’.
