This shocking video shows the moment some scumbag punching his dog while walking down a street.
The abuse begins around 23 seconds into the video, and shows a bellend mercilessly hitting his dog before picking it up the petrified animal and walking off. The footage was filmed by a member of the public who noticed the attack and bravely reported it.
The RSPCA have made the footage public in a bid to track down the man who did this to the terrified dog, which appears to be a bull breed, possibly an American bulldog.
The assault took place on Hendon Road in Nelson, Lancashire, at around 3.15pm on December 10.
RSPCA Inspector Charlotte Booker said:
This is an urgent appeal to find the man in the footage, which we are releasing today, and the dog, whose welfare we are extremely concerned about. We hope that the images of him and the dog along with the location and time this happened will mean that those who know him will recognise him, and call us. This was a sustained attack on a dog which was clearly petrified and submissive and which had to be picked up and carried down the street afterwards.
The RSPCA have asked anyone with information to contact their appeal line on 0300 123 8018 and leave a message for Inspector Booker.
