Jurassic Park fans get excited. The very first clip from Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom has been released and we are now within biting distance of this much anticipated sequel.
The clip was tweeted by filmmaker Colin Trevorrow with the Thanksgiving themed caption ‘From our Jurassic family to yours’. Aww.

And the clip is indeed unusually cute for a film with such a strong focus on man-eating prehistoric lizards.
Here we see Chris Pratt in full raptor trainer mode, playing with an apparantly friendly baby dinosaur.
True Jurassic Park fans will recognise this innocent little baby as a mini velociraptor – the most intelligent and vicious of any of the ill thought out theme park monsters.
She is smiley enough now, but one day she will learn how to open kitchen doors with her enormous, skin shredding claws…
Regardless, fans love Pratt’s little Dino pal, with one Twitter user squealing, ‘Baby raptors are the new Corgi’s’.
Another person suggested to a friend, ‘lets get a baby raptor’, while another likened it to ‘a cute little chicken’.

Last time we saw Pratt’s character Owen Grady he was escaping to the mainland with Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard).
However, it seems – much like Dr. Alan Grant before him – Owen just can’t escape from John Hammond’s hellish theme park.
We can’t wait to see him back on that motorbike, alpha male of the raptors once again…
